Welcome to the Pasifika Music Academy, where students learn, perform, and celebrate music from the Polynesian culture!

This summer, we invite you to enroll your student to participate on a weekly journey during our 8-week summer camp. We have some exciting programs lined up each week, where students can experience the joy and benefits of music as they learn the basics of the ukulele, percussion, and vocals, while also learning songs from across the Pacific!

Summer Camp details:

  • Weekly sessions run from June 22nd through August 14th from 9 AM to Noon, running from Monday through Friday.
  • On Fridays, our summer studio will transform into a stage where your child will perform for you what they learned during the week.
  • The cost per weekly session (per student) is $295. Contact us directly for a sibling discount!
  • If your child has an ukulele for those summer sessions, bring it along! If you don’t have one, that’s perfectly ok, ukulele kits available for sale at $75 a kit (includes:  a tuner, strap, and chord chart.)
  • A light snack and water will be provided for students each day (note: we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions at this time, so if your child requires something specific, please be sure to bring a little something with them for a little snack!).

DAILY STRUCTURE (9AM–12PM)

9:00–9:20 → Morning Circle (Culture + Energy)

  • Chant (Hawaiian oli / Samoan pese intro)
  • Call-and-response rhythm games
  • “Word of the Day” (Polynesian language)

9:20–10:00 → Core Class Block 1
(Daily rotations of: Ukulele / Percussion / Singing)

10:00–10:10 → Snack Break

10:10–10:50 → Core Class Block 2

10:50–11:30 → Creative Lab

11:30–12:00 → Performance / Game / Wrap-up

Our Summer Camp combines fun, hands-on music education with the spirit of the Pacific Islands through ukulele, percussion, singing, storytelling, and performance. We strive to create a positive environment where every child feels encouraged to learn, express themselves, and connect with their heritage.

More than just a music camp, PMA is about inspiring the next generation through culture, creativity, and the joy of making music together.
